Juniper is an open-source data reduction pipeline for time-series observations with JWST.
Juniper is an open-source modular pipeline for reduction of JWST time-series data, specialized for supporting observations of exoplanets. Juniper wraps Stages 1 and 2 of the official jwst pipeline and combines these with four additional custom stages to support reduction, extraction, and fitting of 1D spectral time-series of exoplanet transits and eclipses. Following examples set by Eureka! and HUSTLE-tools, Juniper is designed to be executed easily and reliably through the use of configuration files which record the details of each run and allow users to share their exact processes with their colleagues. Juniper currently supports NIRSpec and MIRI LRS observations, with plans to add support for MIRI photometry and NIRISS SOSS time-series observations in the near future.
The latest and only supported version of Juniper is hosted at GitHub on the dev branch. Documentation for Juniper will be released following the first full release of the Juniper pipeline!
